So in case you have missed it, Indie Games Corner has officially launched the #IndieGameAMonth club last April! What’s that, you ask? Well, stick around for more!
As a part of helping the community grow, and helping gamers (and developers alike) to know more about indie games and how diverse they can get, as part of IGC activities, the #IndieGameAMonth club was launched! Much like regular book clubs, the rules are simple: just play an indie game for a month, and discuss it afterwards with other club members!️ Discussions can include story, gameplay, balance or even art criticism! All games shall be voted upon and agreed, and no game shall be enforced by someone or an entity. The meetings vary between online or offline ones, all voted for upon the members’ convenience! It’s important to remember to respect other members’ opinions and not to spoil anything until the month is done!
The club activities kicked off in April with members voting for several games, but Deadcells won as the club’s first game for discussion! And indeed, it was, despite how difficult the game could get! This month (May), Transistor won it victoriously! (Not going to lie, I was truly hoping it would win! Been itching to try it!) You can get the game on Epic Store or Steam!
So?? Hyped up?? You can join the club by subscribing here for free!
