Hey everyone!

Long time no see! (or blog?) I haven’t been updating the website out of being busy, but starting June, I have decided to post each month’s #IndieGameAMonth’s members’ reviews and rating – based on the members requests of course! (Don’t worry, it’s spoilers free!)

So for June’s game, the game that got picked was AER: Memories of Old.

AER is an indie game where you can transform into a bird and fly to explore and experience a vibrant world of floating islands in the sky. You get to enjoy this soothing artistic world while you venture down into lost ancient ruins, where each step leads you closer to the end of the world. You can find the game on Steam and Epic Store, it’s average playtime is 3 hours.

While the game’s artistic world is refreshing and relaxing, and the flying mechanic was noted by all members to have been the most notable experience, the major issue with the game was how vast yet empty the world is. The depth of the world’s history and the game’s story was the main drive for continuing the game, but one can easily get lost without the game’s proper direction – which wasn’t available most of the time.

#IndieGameAMonth Average Rating: 6/10

If you have played AER, tell us what you think of it!
